The annual conference of the Council of Chief Judges of the State Courts of Appeal will convene in Cary, North Carolina at the historic Umstead Hotel, seen above. The only national conference to focus on the concerns of presiding officers of intermediate appellate courts, the education program will center on the theme “Leading the Court of the Future.” Beginning Saturday, November 12th with a Welcome Reception and continuing through Tuesday, November 15th, participants will hear and have an opportunity to speak with an array of informative speakers on a variety of interesting topics. Participants will also learn from each other in between educational sessions during conversations with judicial colleagues.
